Spring Sessions 6 (plus Potato Salad Recipe)

Hi everyone, and welcome to more Spring Sessions.

We went to a Pot Luck party recently where everyone brought a dish from home. I made Potato Salad for the party and here is the recipe:

3 very large boiled potatoes cut into cubes

5 hard boiled eggs sliced into quarters

A bunch of fresh parsley finely chopped

1/2 red onion finely diced

1 small bunch green (spring) onions finely chopped

3-4 tablespoons mayonnaise

Sea salt and black pepper to season 

Mix everything together and enjoy!

(Recovery day: Lots of rest and stretching today after yesterday’s 5K run + 4K walk)

Yoga from home

Yoga Sequence: Reclining Spinal Twist, Runner’s Up-the-Wall Stretch, Bridge Up-the-Wall, Reclined Bound Angle, Extended Child’s Pose, Spinal Twist, Plough, Pigeon.

Monday


Weight Lifting for Women – Class #28

For the final two weeks of class I will be focusing on the following 8 exercises:

Turkish Get-Up, Dead Lift, Sumo Dead Lift, Front Squat, Plank, Push Up, Pull Up, and Kettle Bell Swing.

Tuesday 


Run and cool-down walk

Yoga stretches 

Wednesday


Morning walk

Thursday

Run and cool-down walk  

Yoga class – always my favourite part of the week

Friday


Yoga from home 

Weight Lifting for Women – Class #30

Saturday 


Early morning run (60 mins) + power walk (20 mins)

Foam roller 

Morning walk

Yoga stretches
